Job Description

RockCreek is looking for an Operations Analyst to join its Operations Team. The  Operations Analyst will play a critical role supporting the Operations Team in ensuring the accuracy of portfolio valuations, performance reports, and investment transactions. You will work with a highly experienced and talented team with deep knowledge in multi-asset class portfolios. Duties will include: 

  • Reconciling cash, positions and investment activities for multi-asset class portfolios that invest in equities, fixed income, private funds (hedge funds, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, etc.), and private companies
  • Supporting trade operations including trading matching and trade settlements
  • Assisting in resolving and/or escalating issues around trade settlements and cash
  • Review bank statements to reconcile cash activities and receivables/payables

Qualifications

  • Experience and/or educational background in finance and accounting (investment portfolio accounting)
  • Interest in investments across different asset classes and strategies
  • Technical skills and knowledge of information databases are desired competencies
  • Ideal candidate would have working knowledge of Eze, Omgeo, SWIFT and/or portfolio accounting software like Cogency, Solovis, or Caissa
  • Professional certification: CPA/CFA is a plus
  • Based in Washington DC area (NOT REMOTE)
