Job Description

RockCreek’s Smart Futures team is looking to hire an MBA intern for the summer to contribute to all parts of the team’s activities, including investment thesis generation, deal sourcing, and diligence for active opportunities. In addition to supporting the team in its day-to-day operations, the intern will also complete a summer project focused on developing an investment thesis and target recommendations for a core Smart Futures thematic area. Smart Futures’ key sectors include energy and utilities, the built environment, manufacturing and industrials, and supply chain and mobility.

We are a small, nimble team that works closely together, and you will have the opportunity to work with and be mentored by all team members. Additionally, the Smart Futures MBA intern will have the opportunity to participate in RockCreek’s broader internship programming, including educational and social events.

This is a paid 10-week internship program, ideally from beginning of June to mid-August 2024 (we will ultimately coordinate a mutually agreeable start date and timeline with selected candidate). High performing interns may be offered the opportunity to continue working with the team through the fall, and/or considered for full-time roles post-graduation, depending on Smart Futures team needs.

  • Desire to work with a small, highly collaborative team
