Are you a visionary architect ready to design world-class gaming platforms that thrill millions?
This isn't just a job, it's a chance to be the architectural backbone that drives business capability. We're looking for a leader who can bridge the gap between business vision and technical reality, designing solutions that are secure, scalable, and compliant from the ground up.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design & Own Mission-Critical Systems: Architect end-to-end solutions for core gaming platforms, including real-time betting engines, player account management, wallet/payment services, and critical integrations.
Drive Architectural Strategy: Work hand-in-hand with our Enterprise Architecture team and Heads of Development to evolve our tech landscape. You'll define the 'to-be' state, evaluate emerging technologies, and set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for technology, data, and business capabilities.
Lead with Influence: Serve as the go-to technical authority, providing leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. You'll set high architectural standards and practices, ensuring technical excellence and consistency across the board.
Guarantee Compliance & Security: Embed robust security measures and ensure all designs meet stringent jurisdictional requirements (e.g., UKGC, PCI-DSS, GDPR), protecting player data and game integrity.
Optimize & Innovate: Focus on performance optimization and reliability improvements for high-throughput systems, constantly identifying new trends and technologies to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner across Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Compliance teams to align technical solutions with strategic business goals.
Qualifications
- Experience of common Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman etc,
- TOGAF and Archimate certification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in solution architecture
- Strong proficiency in backend technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, Node.js) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with real-time transaction systems and high-availability architectures
- Familiarity with secure coding practices, encryption, and fraud prevention techniques
- Knowledge of gaming protocols, RNG systems, and player lifecycle management
- Experience in the gambling, fintech, or other regulated industries
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
