Job Description

This role sits in our Customer Analytics function within our well-established strong data-driven centralised Analytical department. Our mission is to provide insight relative to Marketing, Customer Insights, and Safer Gambling and establish a strong culture of data-driven decision-making in our organisation's strategy.  

This role will give you the opportunity to lead a high-performing marketing analytics team that provides innovative marketing analytics and actionable insights to proactively make recommendations on marketing and promotions decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with marketing teams across both retail and digital businesses to ensure the effectiveness of marketing and promotional activity
  • Supporting marketing performance team to measure ROI on marketing spend and optimise performance, measuring marketing efficiencies and supporting analysis on bonus management
  • Translates behavioural and transactional data into key insights and business deliverables.
  • Responsible for regular reporting of key performance metrics to the business
  • Presents findings to senior stakeholders, and proactively look for areas of opportunity, and how best to use marketing and promotional spend
  • Manage key senior stakeholders, building strong and collaborative relationships
  • Recruit, coach and mentor team career performance with a focus on creating a high-performing marketing analytics team
  • To uphold the company’s commitment to the protection of young and vulnerable people, in accordance with the company’s responsible gambling policy and procedures

Qualifications

  • Demonstratable experience/knowledge of online/venue gambling sector
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or one of the following; Python, R, SAS
  • Knowledge of Data visualisation software, PowerBI preferable
  • Ability to create high-level presentations of analytical work
  • Proven ability to analyse large sets and translate them into insights and actionable business recommendations
  • Great communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced complex business environment
  • BSc/BA in a quantitative field (Statistics, Digital Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Science)
