Job Description

As the UK Payroll Manager, you’ll be working collaboratively with our Head of Payroll across the Group to define our UK payroll approach and ensure the smooth and effective operation of payroll in the UK.

This role sits in our Group Reward & Payroll function, reporting to the Head of Payroll.

  • Hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 from home.
  • Based in Maidenhead 

Responsibilities include:

  • Management of the UK payroll team (3 Advisors)
  • Responsibility for the smooth operation and accuracy of the 3 UK payrolls
  • Oversee our UK payroll software solution and bureau.
  • Management of the relationship between Payroll, Finance and Audit to ensure accurate reporting of payroll outputs.
  • Encourage a customer-centric culture in payroll when supporting employee queries
  • Ensure the compliance of payrolls with local requirements.

Qualifications

  • Excellent relationship-building skills coupled with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Translating requirements into technical solutions.
  • Payroll technical expertise coupled with experience in change management and governance.
  • Demonstrated analytical and data-informed decision-making.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach to your work.
  • Ability to see the 'big picture,' evaluate the business impact of issues and prioritise various requests.
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing and fast-paced working environment and collaborate with multiple teams.
