The Upper Deck @ Grosvenor Casino Blackpool, is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.

Our chefs are paid by the hour, have paid breaks and get Tips, so your OTE is £32,500 annually.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? As Sous Chef you will be the master of detail....

  • Assisting our Head Chef in developing seasonal menus
  • Over-seeing 2 kitchens in the casino
  • Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across both our kitchens
  • Building our specs and recipes and ensuring that our team is fully trained 
  • Being a champion of Stock Management
  • motivating the team through busy shifts
  • Taking over the kitchen and pass in the absence of the head chef.


WHAT DO I NEED?
Just like the perfect dish or cocktail, you will need a few ingredients....

  • Have a passion for cooking with fresh ingredients (if you know, you know!)
  • Have a great eye for detail - ( it really matters)
  • Be a fun-loving, social, team player ( its you that makes the difference)
  • Be ready to work hard ( and have fun!) 

Due to the nature of the business all applicants must be 18+

Qualifications

Level 3 in food Safety

Minimum 3 years experience in fresh food kitchen
