Job Description

Grosvenor Casino is looking for an experienced casino cashier to join our team and be entrusted with the finances of the venue. You will be responsible for correctly accounting for all transactions whilst complying with all gambling regulations and protecting the reputation of the company by adhering to its policies. Through a detailed training program designed by the head cashier, you will quickly become a valuable member of the team and able to work both independently and collaboratively with the rest of the team.

Duties & Responsibilities;

  • Greet and assist customers at the Cash Desk with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Live our STARS values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions which are part of our culture and are critical to our future success, supporting our shared aim of 'Exciting and Entertaining' our customers
  • Comply with all regulations and laws related to gambling, including the Gambling Act and Gambling Commission license conditions and codes of practice.
  • Facilitate the financial transactions of customers while adhering to Licensing Conditions, Codes of Practice, and Company Policies.
  • Follow all company procedures as outlined in the Cash Desk Manual, including those related to Safer Gambling and Anti-Money Laundering Regulations and Group Policies.
  • Collaborate with the cash desk and casino team to efficiently meet the needs of customers and team members.
  • Report to the Head Cashier in all instances and assist with cash and asset counts within the club, maintaining accurate records and accounts as outlined in the Cash Desk manual.
  • Ensure compliance with all security protocols, including monitoring for suspicious activity and immediately reporting any potential security breaches.
  • Maintaining equipment and replenishing ATM and VRT floats ensuring that all customer facing equipment is in good working order
  • Recommend loyalty program and other products and services to customers to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Be an expert source of information for all questions money and promotions related for both customers and team members.
  • Must be able to work shifts at any time of the day, including weekends and bank holidays.

    Qualifications

    Experienced Casino Cashier;

    • Exceptional math and numerical skills, including the ability to accurately handle and account for large sums of cash and gaming chips.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of or willingness to learn legislation related to the cash desk function, demonstrated by passing a competency test.
    • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle and resolve customer complaints.
    • Keen attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with casino customer management systems, and other financial software.
    • Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to think on their feet.
    • Must be motivated and self-driven to constantly enhance skills and adapt to changes in procedure / legislation.
    • Must be a current holder of Personal Functional License (PFL), issued by the UK Gambling Commission.

    £13.96 (£29,036.80) > £15.58 (£32,406.40)
