Job Description

As our Senior Omnichannel Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating attention-grabbing, exciting and highly engaging campaigns which hold the customer experience at their heart. Accountable for planning and executing omni campaign-based activity for Grosvenor Casino including working with multiple teams across various locations, integrated marketing planning (IMP) and aligning promotional activity to drive acquisition, digital and retail footfall, decreasing player churn and increased LTV. The role requires a balanced focus on both retail and digital channels. You will create integrated campaigns to drive profitable acquisition, existing customer value and visitor growth.

Crucially, you will ensure that existing strategies work as hard as possible whilst constantly exploring new opportunities to engage and acquire new customers onto digital or retail platforms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for building a customer-centric marketing strategy for omni players (defined as players who play both in our venues and online) on Grosvenor Casino.  Responsible for ensuring growth of the player base and an uplift in player value from this cohort.
  • On a daily/weekly/monthly basis monitor key performance metrics across a set of pre-defined targets and report back to senior stakeholders on key initiatives.
  • Work with the retail and venue teams to align customer propositions and promotional calendars and events throughout the calendar year
  • Align with retail, digital, CRM, operations and product teams to onboard players from acquisition channels (in venue) and ensure a frictionless and smooth journey resulting in improved conversion metrics. Work to deliver a seamless and personalised journey to drive omni digital players back into venues with relevant offers and propositions.
  • Define a highly personalised onsite and CRM focused marketing strategy that helps us drive and deliver long term strategic growth from this key cohort. Plan 3-6 months in advance and identify opportunities at key points throughout the year.
  • Define and create the roadmap for bespoke headline and BAU customer propositions that appeal to players and drive maximum excitement and entertainment within our player base. Deliver ad-hoc tactical campaigns to react to performance trends.
  • Deliver industry-leading omni events that ensure the highest level of engagement from existing players, maximum acquisition opportunities and reactivate lapsed players
  • Ensure budgets are carefully controlled and all initiatives have clear measures in place to determine ROI.
  • Fully align with the digital promotional and CRM teams and Planning Managers to ensure the complete rollout of your strategy across all customer touchpoints and areas of the business
  • Accountable for the planning and implementation of the all-channel marketing elements of Integrated Marketing Campaigns, including budget planning, audience profiling and targeting, purchasing, post-campaign analysis and ongoing optimization.

Qualifications

  • Gaming/Gambling experience preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrable experience in campaign marketing and planning in consumer-facing multi-channel regulated sectors working across retail and digital commercially focussed businesses
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering IMP initiatives in a fast-moving multichannel environment or high transactional B2C business of comparable scale and dynamism most likely in the leisure and hospitality sector
  • Demonstrable experience in digital acquisition and multi-channel customer lifetime value growth, with a broader experience across all digital media
  • The ability to plan, develop, create, and execute brilliant consumer IMP as part of seamless customer acquisition, brand confidence and conversion strategy
  • Effective communicator and operator at the middle management level, with a proven capability in engaging and influencing senior management and contributing to company strategy
  • Excellent influencing skills to ensure positive and effective working relationships with shared service teams and colleagues in other geographies
  • Track record in establishing, leading and developing small teams
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage change in a matrix environment
