Job Description

As the Due Diligence Team Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a strong Due Diligence team including activities focused on ensuring Rank Group abide by the LCCP guidelines and objectives. More specifically the DD Team Manager will work closely with the Head of Digital Due Diligence to deliver the company vision on protecting our customers and businesses from harm relating to RG and AML risks.

Team Management

  • Daily line management for the team to include, reviewing performance, HR issues, absence requests, objective and task setting as well as providing training and development
  • Assist, guide and mentor team colleagues, providing advice with daily activities where appropriate
  • Support Head of Digital Due Diligence in team recruitment
  • Ensure that the team’s process and procedures (EDD report creation, RG escalations, PEP/Sanctions checking, etc.) are being handled to the highest standard and where necessary escalate non-compliance to the Head of Digital Due Diligence.
  • Perform ongoing data analysis to ensure the teams efficiency

Key Role

  • Undertake complex player investigations which may have been escalated by junior team members
  • Raise suspicious activity reports (SARs) where required
  • Assist in defining the EDD team strategy and be able to present to key senior stakeholders
  • Provide a verification overview for the department’s weekly\monthly reports to senior stakeholders across the business
  • Provide applicable Tier meeting reporting, minutes and agendas to ensure all EDD meetings are recorded and auditable
  • Ensure the Rank Verification Teams are kept up to date with relevant legislation and requirements within the gambling industry
  • Attend training and courses as needed and ensure dissemination of advice / guidance / process to stakeholders / team as needed
  • Collaborate with High Value team managers as required to ensure a consistent journey for high value cross-channel customers
  • Make recommendations to key stakeholders regarding account management for ‘at risk’ customers

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience of AML/Due Diligence 
  • Experience in stakeholder management and collaborative working including coaching/training team members
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Previous experience working within a Verification or AML prevention department
  • Experience in working to strict AML prevention-related goals and objectives
  • Relevant qualification & gambling sector experience would be a distinct advantage
