Job Description

To support the HR Director to drive the implementation of the People Strategy by leading on the delivery of learning and organisational development initiatives and interventions working closely with directors, senior managers and line managers to support and implement engaging development tools and ensure that the skills and capacity of the workforce meet current and emerging organisational needs.

You will build a deep understanding of the business areas, strategies, goals, challenges and capability gaps and provide commercially aligned learning solutions to address the need.

  • To contribute research, analysis and ideas to the development of Rank Interactive and International strategy in order to ensure that organisational development initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with strategic and business goals.
  • To lead and implement all learning and organisational development initiatives within the transformation plan and ensure all initiatives are maintained.
  • To develop the business’s approach to talent management and succession planning (at all levels) and to coordinate and influence the contributions of key stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
  • Support HRD to ensure a robust succession plans are in place for key roles within the International and Interactive business units, in turn maintaining a pipeline of talent through the effective use of organisational wide talent programmes.
  • Utilising effective Management Information to gain insights to the business, capability gaps and learning needs and demonstrates value of learning interventions by linking to the business objectives.
  • Working in partnership with the HR team in implement and deliver a clear development roadmap/career pathway for Rank Interactive and International.
  • Work in partnership and collaboration with all L&D teams across the business to ensure there is consistent approach to our learning and development offer within the business.
  • Responsible for ensuring all mandatory is completed by all colleagues, following up with line managers as required.
  • Work with line managers on the design and delivery of appropriate and relevant Personal Development Plans as required.
  • Monitor and evaluate feedback and effectiveness of all training and development using a Learning Management System and business performance data to demonstrate ROI.
  • Assist with the Apprenticeship strategy and support managers ensuring all development opportunities are identified and resourced
  • Design and deliver in-house briefings, workshops and other required course materials as required.
  • To develop coaching and mentoring to support colleague’s development and the achievement of Personal Development Plans.
  • Work in partnership with the HR team to create and implement an inclusive onboarding journey.
  • Construct and manage an L&D budget/project/intervention, including managing resources to effectively deliver.
  • Identify and analyse potential cost savings to ensure maximum value.
  • Effectively engage, negotiate and manage third party suppliers as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience of reviewing a business learning offer and successfully implementing recommendations is desirable.
  • Experience of working in Gaming, leisure or hospitality with a multi-site workforce is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong coaching/mentoring skills.
  • Effective planning and project management skills with the ability to set and work to deadlines.
  • Understanding of the latest thinking in learning and particularly the technologies used to deliver learning effectively is desirable
  • Ability to manage and develop others is essential
  • The ability to execute on projects; able to make propose solutions to improve our capability
  • Excellent problem-solving skills – be solution driven
  • Degree, CIPD or CTP qualified, or equivalent with a focus on learning and development.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and understand data and information and to use creative thinking to find solutions to problems.
  • Experience of identifying skills gaps and developing learning solutions.
  • Ability to translate OD knowledge into actions and to use knowledge to anticipate business requirements.
