Job Description

We are looking to hire an Insight Analyst to join our growing Analytics and Insights team and you will focus on Safer Gambling and Player protection!

As an Insight Analyst, you'll be responsible for providing insightful, actionable analyses and innovative solutions to impact our digital revenue, productivity, operational efficiencies, customer experience and protection.

Data Analytics is a growing and exciting part of our business! You’ll be part of a bigger team of Data Scientists and Analysts that are working with leading-edge and innovative data modelling techniques to drive business improvement and understanding.

Delivering strategic insight and provide data-driven answers to business questions about our safer gambling interactions to improve customer experience and player protection.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with existing and new technologies to shape the development of analytical insight delivery.
  • Use statistical data approaches to uncover patterns in data from which predictive models can be developed to better understand
  • Develop and maintain reporting to monitor and evaluate Safer Gambling interactions
  • Translate customer, transactional and behavioural data into key insights and business deliverables

Apply statistical techniques on large datasets to:

  • Measure results and show key trends
  • Identify causal impact and attribution
  • Analyse experiments

Additional responsibilities: 

  • Create presentations with analytical findings which compel stakeholders to understand customer behaviour and identify further opportunities to improve
  • Present findings to key stakeholders, and inputs to negotiations on strategies to drive performance across the business
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to build data products that enable others to work with reporting effectively and inform decision-making that solves business problems with data
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop key metrics to measure business performance
  • Maintain best-practice standards within the team regarding coding and analytics

Qualifications

  • Gambling & Safer Gambling experience is preferred
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills are essential
  • Experience of working on big data problems, whether in industry or academia
  • Experience working with multiple solutions, suppliers and data science disciplines
  • Experienced with the creation of analytical models and comfortable working with imperfect data
  • Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools; preferably PowerBI
  • Qualifications in mathematics, statistics, data science modelling (or similar)
