Principal Job Responsibilities & Skills

·         Build and extend our automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, auto-scaling, code deployment and failover, with an eye toward scalability and performance

·         Solid experience with scripting, specifically JavaScript, Shell script and/or PowerShell

·         Build automation workflows and actions through VMWare vRealize Suite (VRA, VRO), including extensibility operations.

·         Use Ansible to automate system configuration tasks for Linux/Windows builds (such as Ansible Galaxy & Vault)

·         Solid experience integrating multiple enterprise technologies, across the IT Operations/IT Applications environment, with a primary focus on configuration management tools.

Essential Qualifications

·         Previous experience with enterprise systems orchestration tools, preferably VMware vRealize Suite (VRA, VRO)

·         Familiar with source code control, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD with tools such as GitHub, BitBucket, Jenkins, Concourse, Jira.

·         Experience with modern automation and configuration management tools, concepts and practices for hybrid cloud infrastructure

·         Development experience a plus.
