Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW

We require a naturally creative, versatile and open-minded analyst for our restaurant business. The candidate will be heavily involved in conducting research and proffering improvement solutions in varied aspects of our restaurant business.

Ultimately, he/she will work with the operations manager to champion development of new innovative, food products while also maintaining the Company’s approved operational standards across all outlets.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Researching and developing new menu items, flavours, and products
  • Improving, enhancing and monitoring existing products
  • Gathering customer insights through surveys, online research, food bloggers, and other sources
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity

Qualifications

Requirement and Skills

  • BSc degree with a minimum of a second-class upper rating in food science, engineering/technology, catering management or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience. Knowledge of food products is a plus.
  • Passion for cooking
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Power point and Excel)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • A self-starter and a team player with high levels of drive and energy.
  • Must possess a high level of integrity, determination and personal commitment.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong thinking ability
