Job Description

  • Performing full operation and maintenance of Diesel - Engine Generator Set.
  • To carry out no load test and load testing of Engine Generator Test according to Preventive Maintenance Schedule or as required by outlet technician.
  • To work with the mechanical and electrical technicians in the preventive and corrective maintenance of all units of Diesel Engine Generator Sets.
  • Ensure proper and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance of all generators sets.
  • Prompt response to resident generator faults, diagnose, and resolve power outage emergencies.
  • Good records of repairs and pre-maintenance performed on the generating set.
  •  Inspect power plant and panel indicators to ensure optimal operation of generators set & documentation of maintenance parameters for plant improvement.
  • To conduct daily inspection of all Diesel Engine Generator Sets to check battery charge status and hydrometer battery water testing, radiator water, engine lubrication oil level and lead acid testing of lubrication oil, water jacket heater operation and to keep accurate logs and records of all operating parameters
  •  Swift response to power generating fault & relate equipment and other maintenance tasks.
  • Provide routine inspection and ensure optimal performance of all generators sets.
  • Diagnose faults & resolve power panel circuit breakers faults, unclogging fuel pump line, and other technical faults.
  • Ensure generator house is always illuminated.
  •  Ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness of the generator house, diesel storage chamber and all electrical rooms.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 year experience
  • HND/Bsc holders in Engineering related field are eligible to apply
  • Must be computer literate
  • MUST BE RESIDING IN LAGOS, NIGERIA
