Job Description

We are looking for a Project Officer to join our team and manage the day-to-day activities of various teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. 

Project Officer responsibilities include planning project management activities, analyzing financial information to keep projects on track, and collaborating with different departments to ensure all leaders understand where a project is in the development process. 

 

Qualifications

ROLES AND REQUIREMENTS OF A PROJECT OFFICER/COORDINATOR

  • The candidate must possess a degree (HND or B.sc in Building Technology or Civil Engineering).
  • The candidate must have minimum of 3-5 years of post-NYSC experience.
  • The candidate must be proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Autocad, etc.
  • The candidate must possess sound communication and documentation skills.
  • The candidate must have knowledge of construction and site execution procedures for building projects as well as building maintenance skills.
  • The candidate should not be older than 32years of age.
  • The candidate should be a resident of Abuja and he/she should be willing to travel outside Abuja for job/official related purposes.
  • The candidate must be able to make sure projects run smoothly by supporting the project manager in managing a project.
  • The candidate must be able to maintain project documentation, such as plans and reports; assign tasks and control schedules and communicate the project’s progress to the project manager, project head, and of course the project team members.
  • He/she should also possess time management and organizational skills.
  • The candidate should be able to assist with property checks and acquisition tasks.
