Job Description
- Implement NBP strategies and programs that drive revenue growth and profitability goals by identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities in addition to managing and growing existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a strategic sales plan for future sales growth.
- Prospecting to identify and qualify new potential customers, including cold calling and development of leads through referral channels, to generate appointments, establish relationships, and leverage marketing activities and partner relationships
- Manage the pipeline of opportunities from current and prospective customers to ensure that sales goals can be met.
- Close sales of molding solutions to sales prospects and existing customers, to meet sales goals and contribute to company profitability.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for technical and business issues for assigned accounts to ensure the maintenance of a high level of Customer Satisfaction.
- Ensure quotations are complete, accurate, and meet customer and company expectations.
- Build a good working relationship with the customer, ensure an understanding of the customer’s needs and objectives, and approach decisions as a partnership with the customer.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience working for a manufacturing company.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office software
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to build a book of business through targeted prospecting and cold calls
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent follow-up skills and negotiating skills.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and execute – while demonstrating good judgment and tact.
- Positive, self-motivated attitude and willing to work hard to accomplish personal and company objectives.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Limited travel required.
Experience & Education:
- Minimum Level of Education/Training/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience. Three to five years of business-to-business sales experience.

Differentiators:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Knowledge and experience in engineering sales or a closely related field
- Experience with plastics, resins, and/or injection molding
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Typical office environment. Working at a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional exposure to a manufacturing environment.
- Safety glasses are required when in the plant.
