Job Description

The Role

As Ozone’s Head of Platform Demand, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy which drives sustained year-over-year growth in ad revenue from major buying platforms.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be responsible for planning & executing Ozone’s Platform Demand strategy, growing Ozone’s book of business, and delivering success to our Partners & Publishers

  • You’ll build deep, trusting C-level relationships with each Platform Partner as a means to understand their needs & motivations, and identify our opportunities & risks

  • You’ll take responsibility for design, implementation & ongoing improvement of rigorous process & workflow in your function & between those you collaborate with

  • You’ll design & implement a ‘balanced scorecard’ framework which helps us measure Partner performance, inform strategy and determine day to day priorities across the wider team

  • You’ll work closely with other Operations & wider business stakeholders to ensure that we are aligned in our approach to delivery of business objectives. This will include collaboration with:

    • Publisher Operations, Marketplace Operations & Technical Account Management to ensure that we are optimally configured in Publisher Ad Servers and across Ad Partners

    • Publisher Business Development & Account Management to inform supply acquisition priorities and Publisher deployment of new supply capability 

    • Operational Analytics to develop Demand partner KPIs & measurement, reporting & dashboarding

    • Engineering and Product, informing their development of new operational capability through your knowledge and experience

    • Ozone Marketing on packaging capability as customer-facing programmatic product including bidstream intelligence & optimisation, brand safety and KPI optimisation

  • You’ll maintain excellent communication with Senior Leadership & the wider Ozone organisation, and externally with key programmatic customers & Ad Partners. This will include regular updates, business intelligence and ‘next best action recommendation’ briefings for these stakeholder groups

Qualifications

Required Experience/ Skills

  • You’ll have at least 8+ years’ experience as business owner of Global Platform relationships with responsibility for Contract development and managing complex commercial negotiations

  • You’ll have demonstrable success in developing and executing commercial strategy; you will know the relationships that need to be built and the levers through which you can drive sustainable growth

  • You’ll have exceptional verbal communication skills at all levels of the organisation and clear, confident business-writing

  • You’ll have demonstrable success as people manager as well as a contributor to high-performing, cross-functional teams

  • You’ll have an excellent understanding of the digital ecosystem and a strong operational understanding of key ad technologies including prebid, RTB, SSP / exchanges and DSPs including auction-logic

  • You’ll be ‘data-driven’ in your approach; familiar with data systems and dashboarding, confident in operating in a KPI-driven environment whilst relying on Business Intelligence to inform your decision-making

  • We’re looking for someone who is energetic, organised and will be motivated by Ozone’s mission to drive market-level change. You’ll have a long-history of building deep, strong and trusted relationships with Customers & Partners alike
