Job Description
The A.V. Club is looking for a social media manager in our Chicago office. The social media manager will be responsible for populating and maintaining our very active social media channels.
The social media manager will be responsible for daily content sharing (on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr), scheduling weekend posts, tracking live web traffic, managing analytics and making performance-informed decisions i.e.: release, timing, and presentation. This person will also manage responses to fans and followers and manage those communities in addition to collaborating with ClickHole and The Onion Digital Managers.
We are looking for someone to become part of our club. We’re a small group of hard-working multi-taskers who share the goal of creating the best pop-culture coverage on the web. This social media manager must share that passion and enthusiasm. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work with us.

- Knowledgeable about social media, current and future, at least 1 year professional experience
