Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Zap-Lok Consultant / SME to support our client pipeline projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in mechanical pipeline connection systems, specifically Zap-Lok technology, and will provide technical guidance, quality assurance, and on-site support for project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Provide technical expertise on Zap-Lok mechanical pipeline connection systems.
✔ Oversee pipeline installation, quality control, and integrity assessments.
✔ Ensure compliance with industry standards (API, ASME, DNV, etc.).
✔ Support project planning, troubleshooting, and risk assessments.
✔ Conduct training and knowledge transfer for engineering teams.
✔ Collaborate with NOV Tuboscope and other technology providers.
✔ Work on both onshore and offshore pipeline projects as needed.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Qualifications:

🔹 5+ years of experience in Zap-Lok or similar mechanical pipeline connection systems.
🔹 Strong background in pipeline construction, welding alternatives, and integrity management.
🔹 Familiarity with coated and uncoated pipelines using Zap-Lok.
🔹 Knowledge of hydrostatic testing, ultrasonic inspections, and pipeline QC.
🔹 Experience working with EPC contractors, oil & gas operators, and pipeline installation teams.
🔹 Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, or Pipeline Engineering) preferred.
🔹 Certifications such as API 1169, ASNT NDT Level II are a plus.
🔹 Willingness to travel and work in remote/onshore/offshore environments
