ABOUT THIS JOB
Nielsen business operations is looking for a highly motivated Project Management Manager who will be able to reinforce and grow our Project Management team by taking up the challenge and responsibility to deliver high quality of service to our end client by excellent coordination with all stakeholders. The Project Management Manager is responsible for the provision of all project management deliverables and together with the head of PM, develops strategy in the planning, monitoring, supervising as well as continuous coaching and guidance to the PM team. The Manager works in close collaboration with Senior Management, the team leads of Client Service (CS) and Operations (OPS).
RESPONSIBILITIES

Assurance of project quality & service delivery
Driving cost efficiency
Effective team management:
Effectively plan team workload and ensure delivery are to time and quality expectations
Train and coach team members on PM work processes and standards to ensure total independence of the team members to handle all projects and ability to deliver or execute the project efficiently (both time and cost)
Facilitate knowledge transfer by acting as an advisor and source of technical advice for team members
Support team members on solving operation concerns and issues
Support Head of PM on PPR objective setting with the team and provide on-going performance feedback
Active engagement with team members to build a close-bonding atmosphere
Act as an extension of the team to explain rationale of company initiatives and reinforce key messages.
Quality and service assurance:
Ensure all PM processes and procedures are adhered to within the team
Actively support and advise CS in research design, logistics, crisis management and other relevant issues in meeting the project requirements
Support team members in their functional role1, where and when required, in ensuring delivery
Proactive communication with CS/OPS, internal Nielsen counterpart, external vendors during project life cycle ensuring on target delivery (both time and margin)
Driving & sharing of best practices to achieve greater work efficiency with PM
Compliance with key initiative
Together with PM head and/or Senior management, have regular review/revisions of systems and procedures with the end goal of improving productivity and cost efficiency in the department
Perform other related functions that may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in any industry, preferably in Consulting, Client Servicing or/and Project Management
Extensive working experience across industries – Consumer Packaged Goods, Finance Services, Telco & Tech and Retailer
Good knowledge of research techniques and methodologies
Versatile in handling people of different personality types under all circumstances
Very good in influencing, persuading, and project management skills
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office applications and Google tools.
