Job Description
Are you an innovative Art Director who sits at the intersection of brand strategy, data-driven storytelling, and generative AI design? Nielsen is seeking a forward-thinking Art Director to lead visual direction across global brand campaigns, digital marketing, events, and executive communications. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will translate complex media analytics into clean, compelling visual narratives while pioneering next-generation AI workflows to scale our creative capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Leadership & Campaign Strategy: Conceptualize and execute visual direction for global B2B and B2C marketing campaigns, product launches, and high-impact executive decks.
AI Workflow Integration: Champion the ethical and innovative use of generative AI tools to accelerate storyboarding, concept testing, and visual asset production without compromising brand integrity.
Data Visualization & Storytelling: Transform complex audience measurement data, media research, and SaaS metrics into intuitive infographics, visual reports, and interactive touchpoints.
Brand Stewardship: Enforce and evolve Nielsen’s global visual guidelines across web, social, video, event environments, and print collateral.
Creative Mentorship: Guide internal designers, copywriters, motion designers, and external agency partners from initial concept through final delivery.
Qualifications
Experience: 5–7+ years of progressive design experience, with at least 2 years in an Art Director or Senior Designer role (B2B & B2C, tech, media, or agency environment preferred).
Portfolio: Must feature strong work in corporate branding, campaign strategy, typography, data visualization, and examples of AI-assisted design.
Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, and commercial generative AI platforms (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, DALL-E).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent practical experience.
