As the Product Solutions Lead — Pacific, you will own the commercial go-to-market (GTM) strategy and sales narrative for Nielsen’s audience-measurement portfolio, spanning Profiling, Planning, and Ads Measurement.

Positioned at the intersection of product strategy, sales enablement, and client solutions, you will translate global capabilities—centered around Nielsen ONE—into locally compelling propositions that solve complex challenges for advertisers, agencies, publishers, and media platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Regional GTM Strategy: Set and execute the commercial GTM agenda for Profiling, Planning, and Ads Measurement across Australia and New Zealand, aligning local demand with regional growth targets.

  • Localize Innovation: Translate global product capabilities, methodology updates, and roadmap developments into highly relevant, market-ready ANZ propositions.

  • Define Commercial Sales Plays: Build structured sales plays, identifying target segments, high-value use cases, discovery frameworks, qualification signals, and proof requirements.

  • Lead Packaging & Pitch Strategy: Develop value-led packaging, pricing inputs, executive pitch narratives, battlecards, workshop decks, and client-facing collateral.

  • Champion Strategic RFPs & Tenders: Shape high-impact responses to complex briefs and tenders, orchestrating subscription, project, data-licensing, and solution-led routes to market.

  • Enable Account Teams: Deliver repeatable training, demo flows, competitive positioning, and objection-handling tools to empower sales and solutions teams to close deals faster.

  • Build Market Feedback Loops: Gather client insights, adoption barriers, and competitive dynamics to directly influence regional and global product roadmaps.

  • Support High-Value Negotiations: Partner with commercial teams during strategic deal cycles to articulate value, clear technical dependencies, and define measurable outcomes.

  • Track Commercial Performance: Monitor pipeline contribution, win/loss trends, conversion metrics, product adoption, and expansion signals.

Qualifications

  • 7+ Years of Relevant Experience: Background in product marketing, product strategy, solutions consulting, commercial strategy, or media measurement.

  • Domain Mastery: Deep understanding of audience measurement, consumer profiling, cross-platform media planning, digital ad effectiveness, and deduplicated reach metrics.

  • Commercial Translation: Proven ability to package complex data products and methodology into clear, differentiated, and commercially attractive narratives.

  • ANZ Market Knowledge: Nuanced understanding of the Australian and New Zealand media and advertising ecosystems, recognizing distinct buying dynamics across both markets.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Track record of navigating matrixed organizations to drive alignment across Sales, Product, Analytics, Marketing, and Regional Leadership.

  • Executive Communication: Outstanding presentation, pitch development, and workshop facilitation skills with key senior stakeholders.

  • Commercial Acumen: Familiarity with recurring revenue models, project pricing, data licensing, and strategic pilot structures.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Postgraduate qualification in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Media, or a related field.

Why Join Nielsen?
