Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead high-stakes, cross-functional engineering initiatives. In this role, you will bridge business strategy, system architecture, and operational execution. You will drive the technical delivery strategy for complex software integrations, scale distributed systems, and partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Architecture leaders to turn ambitious roadmaps into reliable software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Delivery Strategy: Architect end-to-end program delivery plans for multi-team initiatives, translating high-level product requirements into detailed engineering milestones.

  • Architecture & Dependency Management: Identify, track, and resolve complex cross-functional dependencies across API contracts, core platform services, and external integrations.

  • Technical Problem Solving: Drive alignment on system trade-offs (e.g., latency, scalability, technical debt) and participate in architectural reviews to keep execution aligned with long-term platform health.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify technical, security, and operational risks weeks before they impact launch schedules, building actionable contingency plans.

  • Operational Excellence: Establish a lightweight, high-impact execution cadence (e.g., agile delivery processes, integration testing syncs, execution metrics, post-mortems) across distributed engineering teams.

  • Executive Communication: Synthesize technical status, risks, and execution health into clear, data-driven updates for senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience as a TPM, Engineering Manager, or Systems Architect managing complex software development cycles.

  • Technical Depth: Deep understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented/microservices architecture, REST/gRPC APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure). Ability to hold technical discussions with Principal Engineers and Architects.

  • Execution Track Record: Proven history of delivering large-scale, multi-team software initiatives from inception to rollout on time and at scale.

  • Leadership & Influence: Outstanding stakeholder management skills; ability to align disparate engineering, product, and business teams without direct authority.

  • Data-Driven: Proficiency with program management frameworks (Jira, Confluence) and using metrics to measure delivery velocity and system reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience in ad tech, data engineering, complex integrations (e.g., third-party verification, SDK integrations), or high-throughput real-time systems.
