Role Summary We are seeking a seasoned NoSQL DBA to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our mission-critical distributed database systems. You will be the subject matter expert for our Cassandra (Wide-column) and MongoDB (Document) environments, ensuring 99.99% availability, high performance, and seamless scalability across on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

Experience: Minimum 6 years in DBA roles with at least 4 years focused on NoSQL (Cassandra)  at scale.

Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design Performance & Tuning Operations & Maintenance Automation & DevOps NoSQL Core - Expert knowledge of Cassandra (v3.x/4.x) and MongoDB (v4.x/5.x/6.x) internals.

Infrastructure: Strong experience in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/Alma) administration and Kernel tuning.

Tools: Nodetool, CQLSH, Mongosh, OpsCenter, MongoDB Ops Manager.

Cloud : AWS RDS, EC2 Distributed Systems: Understanding of the CAP Theorem, Gossip protocol, and Paxos/Raft consensus.
