Job Description
Role Overview: The Identity Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in managing access controls, resolving identity-related issues, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies. As part of our IAM team, you’ll contribute to enhancing Nielsen’s overall security posture.
Responsibilities:
Identity Ticket Management:
Promptly troubleshoot and resolve identity tickets and inquiries using system knowledge and team Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
Interface directly with employees to address access and application integration needs.
Access Management:
Manage user accounts and access permissions within the organization’s identity management system.
Collaborate with the IAM team to ensure appropriate access levels across systems and applications.
Administer the IAM system daily, including user and group provisioning and deprovisioning.
Project Contributions:
Contribute to IAM projects, such as security enhancements and access control process improvements.
Create and contribute to operations improvements such as SOP’s, and team metrics/reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IAM or related roles.
Proficiency with Okta, Active Directory, and CyberArk (strongly preferred).
Strong understanding of access controls, identity governance, and security best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work and support 24x5 shift coverage (Monday to Friday).
Additional Skills:
Motivated and comfortable working independently to resolve customer issues.
Stay informed about the latest IAM trends and incorporate best practices.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to work directly with employees and represent the IAM program within Nielsen.
PowerShell scripting for Active Directory operations a plus.
IT Audit experience is a plus.
Technological skills to assist in building and maintaining IAM processes.
