Job Description

Working in a small team of Data Analysts, Statisticians and Data Scientists, the Lead Statistician will need to balance the responsibilities of gathering and transforming data into insights relating to respondent profiles and TV/Video viewing behavior, provide internal and external support on technical discussions as well as the ability to mentor team members.

  • Questionnaire design – addressing new requirements, continuous review of existing questions
  • Data collection, cleansing and processing
  • Data analysis & interpretation
  • Presenting observations and findings internally and to technical committees
  • Data projection and weighting approaches
  • Data insights to support strategic decisions
  • Proficiency with statistical software to perform analysis
  • Mentoring team members
  • Supporting colleagues with data analysis

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of recent experience with demonstrated capability to address the job requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Statistical/Analytical or related discipline
  • Demonstrated hand-on usage with related programming languages such as SAS, R or Python

Knowledge & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience with sample-based and big data
  • Experience with data fusion and data imputation techniques
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines 
  • An ability to learn quickly
  • Customer-centric approach to work
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, lifting the conversation out of the technical jargon
  • Possess strong planning, organizing and project management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work autonomously
