This role is appropriate for journey-level maintenance mechanics to people with experience as maintenance managers.
The Mission For This Role
To Evaporate water at maximum rate, meeting customer specification at lowest cost in an environmentally responsible manner and innovating our processes and technology in coordination with all relevant colleagues. This position is based at our Williams facility. Pay is expected to be $65,000 to $110,000, depending upon qualifications.
Responsibilities and Activities
Perform, guide or direct, with fellow colleagues and/or with contractors, all predictive, preventive and responsive maintenance on plant equipment, including but not limited to the following:
The evaporation mechanic is the plant operator during the fresh pack season. They must be able to effectively communicate with all affected colleagues and make operational decisions in a timely manner. They are responsible to keep all evaporation equipment running at peak performance and efficiency.
Knowledge, Talent and Experience Requirements
- Excellent Mechanical concepts and skills.
- Stainless sanitary pipe welding and fabrication skills.
- Process flow improvement skills a plus.
- Willing to work long hours and weekends.
- Excellent listening and communications skill, written and oral.
- Understands, enjoys and is very good at the game of business.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Competent with Excel, Word and other related applications.
- Patient, but persistent in getting results.
