POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish and pot washing, general kitchen cleaning, and the storing of food and non-food supplies.  Assist with food preparation and plating, when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position.  This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive.  Other duties may be required and assigned.

•  Responsible for set-up and maintenance of dish and pot washing areas.
• Responsible for cleaning and storing all pots, dishes, and utensils.
• Clean production equipment as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Remove rubbish from building on a regular basis.
• Clean all food service area and kitchen area floors.
• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.

Educational Requirements and Experience:

•  No high school diploma or experience required.
• Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain.
