Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level, in the position of a Housekeeping Supervisor. Key duties connected with this role are as follows:

  • To inspect guest rooms, including VIP, vacant, occupied and check-out rooms, turn-down (as assigned) to ensure that the standards are being achieved
  • Check the standards of the rooms and public areas
  • Ensure sufficient supplies and equipment available to your colleagues to enable them to carry out their job
  • Supervising Room Attendants and Floor Porters in your charge and making sure they have everything they need and that they are looked after
  • Take care of any lost property
  • Manage cleaning schedules to ensure consistent high levels of cleanliness are adhered to
  • Assist with stock takes and control of inventories
  • Monitor consumption of cleaning products and amenities to control wastage.
