Senior Staff Research Scientist IX: Dynamically-Responsive Computational Biophysicist

  • Full-time

Company Description

Hexagon Lavish® is a scientific research and development start-up based in the United States. The company initially was focused in machine learning techniques but now has evolved into a small company that's devoted to utilizing "unorthodox" research methodologies in theoretical development and uncompromised use of mathematics and science.

PIR: Premier Information Retrieval will be a resultant product from the platform, IISS (Informational Interpretation Scientific Software). PIR will be designed as software for immediate detection, distinction, classification and analysis.

Desmond J. Watson, co-founder and chief executive officer of Hexagon Lavish®,  is putting together a small team of researchers, mathematicians, engineers and programmers for this startup. Job Description

Hexagon Lavish® has an open, full-time/permanent senior position for a Senior Staff Research Scientist IX: *Dynamically-Responsive Computational Biophysicist with a track record of extraordinary accomplishment and an "unquenched thirst" that drives them to accomplish even more. The ideal individuals (plural) who are brave and competent enough to take on the duties, responsibilities and tasks that coincide with the aforementioned position will have relevant experience in the areas of: ion channels, protein kinases and/or biomolecule structural modeling.

The ideal individuals will bring innovative structural biological technologies into being with a sharp, narrow focus on computational development and implementation for "informational interpretation" utility. The ideal individuals will also design and conduct experiments for all aspects of "structural determination" which includes grid preparation and data collection. The Dynamically-Responsive Computational Biophysicist will work closely with the Bioinformatics Researcher in efforts of forming collaborative efforts for integrating structural biological tasks.

The incumbent will perform numerical modeling in efforts of contribution towards the development of the "distinction" and "classification" aspects of our soon-to-be commercially available "informational interpretation" product.
