The Crystal Lodge & Suites is looking for an Accounting Assistant who is motivated, committed professional and looking for a fixed-term position.
You will be responsible for providing daily support to the Crystal Lodge Accountant with both administrative and accounting duties. This role will involve many aspects of the accounting function and the ideal candidate will have previous experience working across multiple functions within accounting. Some examples of tasks that you will be required to complete are detailed below:
- Daily cash reconciliation
- Accounts receivable
- Credit card reconciliation
- Production of daily sales and revenue reports
- Invoice preparation, collection and posting of payments
- Monthly float counts for the Front Desk team
Please note that this list is not exhaustive and is dependent on the needs of the department.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with both strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience of working within an accounting department is essential, ideally within a hospitality setting. In addition, someone with excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines without compromising attention to detail.
