Job Description
The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, OrthoMaryland division has an immediate opening for a part-time Occupational Therapist for our busy orthopaedic practice. The Occupational Therapist will provide direct patient care as they evaluate and treat surgical and non-surgical hand and upper extremity patients. This is a part-time position in our Baltimore location.
Duties:
- Evaluate, treat, and develop care plans for a variety of upper extremity injuries and dysfunctions
- Exhibit strong customer service skills in daily interaction with the public, patients, staff and physicians in the performance of job duties.
- Provide patient care during therapy sessions according to practice policies and procedures
- Adhere to OrthoMaryland’s policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
- State of Maryland Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist licensure
- Hand Therapist (CHT) certified by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) preferred
- Orthopedic upper extremity experience preferred
