Job Description

  • Develop comprehensive business cases for the acquisition and/or disposal of real property assets.
  • Conduct research on market rates or services costs  and trending analysis and prepare market research packages; develop spreadsheets, pivot tables; prepare PowerPoint presentations.
  • Complete analytical and fact gathering data on real estate portfolio projects; create updates and maintain inventory spreadsheets; review CPI adjustments, taxes/utilities, operating expenses, and lease terms.
  • Analysis portfolio and identify cost savings and space reduction options through utilization rate reductions, space consolidations, and co-locations.  
  • Analyze space requirements and prepare Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates for on-time expenses.
  • Prepare preliminary funding documents with detailed space data for approval by leadership.
  • Manage and track strategic portfolio management activities and participate in weekly customer meetings.
  • Respond to data requests from internal and external sources.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • Public Sector experience in Real Estate or Asset Management is required showing progression in duties and contributions - Federal Government experience preferred..
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
