About the role: 

Working with the Director of Marketing & Communications and other staff, the Digital Marketing Manager will lead planning and development of all AFTD Marketing Cloud journeys and ad campaigns, analyzing metrics to position AFTD for maximum impact and engagement.  

They will use web analytics tools and design ads to better optimize campaigns.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

Essential Job Functions 

  • Analysis and Reporting: Use analytics, with a continuous test, learn, and improve mindset proactively builds campaigns and reports that present data in a way that generates actionable insights.
  • Managing Marketing Cloud Strategy: Help develop and manage AFTD’s marketing strategies to target communities across the United States and a growing global audience. Responsible for AFTD’s Marketing Cloud administration, effectively engaging all segments of our audience, including FTD-unaware members of the public, families facing a new diagnosis and established donors and volunteers. Coordinate with the staff to ensure alignment of web and social media content. While Marketing Cloud experience is preferred, for promising candidates who do not have Marketing Cloud-specific expertise, AFTD can provide professional development support to build expertise in this emerging platform.
  • Managing Digital Advertising: Create and monitor Google Ads and inform social ad campaign building and optimization.
  • Inform Website design to support marketing objectives and increase conversions. Experience with WordPress and Form Assembly are a plus.

Qualifications

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this role:    

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Relevant technical certifications (incl. Google Analytics, Google Ads) will be considered
  • 3+ years of digital marketing automation experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal communication, writing, and editing skills

  • Strong technical proficiency, with proficiency in Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, WordPress, and Form Assembly a plus.
  • Demonstrated outreach to diverse populations a plus.
  • Demonstrated expertise with using digital analytics to drive marketing strategies
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • A professional, flexible team player who is willing to take on new challenges

Additional Information

This position is fully remote. AFTD’s office is King of Prussia, PA-based, and candidates within commutable distance of our office may be asked to consider hybrid work as part of the hiring process.
