Job Description
At The Arts Club, we deliver on our promise.
We provide a haven of peace and sophistication to our members and their guests within elegant surroundings featuring exquisite pieces of art, incredible food and drink in our restaurants, bars and private dining event spaces.
With our luxurious 16 rooms and suites we offer the highest service standards.
As one of London’s top live music venues, the Club is a creative hub where 6 home produced bands and headline acts including Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Jacksons have performed.
We are currently looking for top talent to come and join our team and share this unique and luxury setting in Mayfair.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to nurture the Sommelier team with the day to day running of floor service across our Food and Beverage operations
• Develop junior members to become experts in this specialist arena
• Recommend and match the finest vintages for our Members to complement their menu selection
• Provide an enchanting and memorable gastronomy experience
Entry Requirements:
We are searching for highly motivated and experienced individuals, who have worked in a similar role. You will be an excellent and confident communicator with exceptional people skills.
Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:
• Ideally WSET Level 3 or equivalent Sommelier qualifications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experienced with ordering and stock rotation
• Excellent knowledge of wine, liquor and Champagnes
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail
• A high standard of personal presentation and finesse
• Confident, professional and welcoming personality

Eligibility: In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application.
