a variety of spring internship positions. Take advantage of on the

This is an unpaid Volunteer / Intern position.

Job Description

• Introduce high school and college aged students to Japanese language and culture.

• Enhance student development through lecture and facilitation of student discussion and activities.

• Prepare creative presentations and lectures on Japanese Theatre & Kabuki Movement.

• Educate students about Japanese culture and etiquette.

• Design curriculum to teach students about Japanese language and culture.

• Guide and encourage students to broaden their cultural horizons.

• Evaluate student progress and learning of Japanese Theatre, the Kabuki Movement, Japanese language, culture, and etiquette.

• Act as a mentor and resource person to students regarding the curriculum.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of Japanese Theatre & Kabuki Movement, along with Japanese language, culture, and etiquette.

• Prior teaching experience required.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage and provide instruction to students.

• A passion for women’s education.

• Strong leadership skills.

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with other volunteers.
