We have an immediate opportunity for a Director of User Experience who will work directly with Design, Technology, Quality Assurance and Client Services teams to develop meaningful and valuable interactive experiences for clients. The ideal candidate will leverage user, stakeholder and competitive research, and customer personas and stories developed by Strategy team to construct conceptual designs, storyboards, information architecture, clickable prototypes, and functional specifications for responsive websites, complex transactional web applications and portals. S/he will produce scalable content structures

including taxonomies and metadata used for organizing, retrieving and displaying data. You will work closely with clients to uncover transformational business needs. Will also be expected to present and defend the User Experience deliverables, and build consensus among the various stakeholders. Working with the project team, you will lead usability testing and measure improvements to design solutions through these methods.  S/he will also work closely with the Creative Director, and will ensure that a user

experience process is implemented across all client projects. In addition, you will assist, as needed, with

internal Tahzoo digital products and services including marketing, social media and content strategies.

• 8+ years experience working professionally in a client-driven User Experience environment (web & mobile

• Strong knowledge of user-centered design tools and methodology, particularly as applied to web-based

and mobile-based applications

• An engaging portfolio that not only shows the end-result of your work, but also shows how you think and

• Excellent communication and organization skills – must be able to function as a thought leader as well as

• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, Omnigraffle, Balsamiq, InVision,

• Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
