Job Description

About Psychological Services:

Research shows that only 1 out of 3 individuals get access to eating disorder care. The National Alliance for Eating Disorders' Psychological Services program strives to improve this statistic by providing direct clinical, outpatient services to underinsured and uninsured clients - those who are typically unable to access adequate mental health care. Nearly 7 in 10 psychological services clients report an annual household income of $25,000 or less, while nearly 40% report an annual household income of less than $10,000.

“I am so thankful and grateful to receive care and support from The Alliance, an organization that provides free and low-cost treatment and services. Without them, I would not be where I am today. I felt belittled, judged, and most importantly, ashamed. That’s when I googled ‘eating disorder help’ and found The Alliance. That is where, to this day, I received love, support, comfort, and shoulders to lean on. That is where I found my home away from home and blossomed into the human I am today.”

Apply today to become a Psychological Services therapist with The Alliance and be a part of the change.

Position Summary:

Modalities of treatment offered at Psychological Services include individual, couples, family, group therapy, and support groups. Our treatment approach is firmly rooted in evidence-based treatment, while being tailored to meet the individual needs of the patients.
