Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced EP Lab Manager to lead a high-volume, dedicated Electrophysiology program in Austin, Texas. This leadership role oversees daily operations of multiple EP labs, including pre- and post-procedural areas, and is responsible for clinical quality, staff development, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Clinical & Operational Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Electrophysiology labs and related service areas.

  • Direct activities of nursing and support staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

  • Coordinate patient flow and procedural scheduling to optimize throughput and outcomes.

  • Ensure compliance with nursing standards of care and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and complete patient documentation and charge capture.

Staff Management & Development

  • Conduct performance evaluations and establish individual development goals.

  • Provide education updates through staff meetings and in-service training.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Supervise leadership team members and support professional growth.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Participate in annual budget development and ongoing fiscal management.

  • Monitor inventory, equipment utilization, and supply management.

  • Support strategic growth and service line expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Acute care experience required.

  • Prior leadership experience in electrophysiology or cardiovascular services.

Preferred

  • Experience leading a dedicated EP program.

  • Strong background in cardiac arrhythmia management and EP procedures.

  • Demonstrated success managing high-volume cardiovascular services.
