Shifts: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (rotating weekends)
Compensation: $30.69 – $43.20/hr (based on experience)
Differentials: +$4.25/hr (Nights) | +$3.00/hr (Weekends)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Days) | $25,000 (Nights)
Relocation: $2,500–$5,000 (100+ miles)

Overview

Join our team as a Pulmonary/Med-Surg RN near Alachua, FL. This role supports a busy 45-bed unit treating pulmonary patients and those with medical-surgical needs. With a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, this unit offers excellent exposure to complex cases and provides strong support for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for pulmonary and general medical patients.

• Monitor respiratory conditions, assess changes, and act quickly in emergencies.

• Administer medications and therapies per physician orders.

• Educate patients and families about ongoing care and recovery.

• Collaborate with a team of physicians, respiratory therapists, and nurses.

• Florida or Compact RN license required.

• At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/Diploma required; BSN preferred).

• BLS certification required; NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days; ACLS within 6 months.
