Compensation: $30.69 – $43.20/hr (based on experience)
Differentials: +$4.25/hr (Nights) | +$3.00/hr (Weekends)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Days) | $25,000 (Nights)
Relocation: $2,500–$5,000 (100+ miles away)
Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a Renal/Med-Surg RN to join our nursing team near Alachua, FL. This role offers the opportunity to provide care for renal and vascular patients in a high-volume, 45-bed unit with strong teamwork and career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
Deliver safe, evidence-based care for renal and medical-surgical patients.
Perform assessments, administer medications, and document care accurately.
Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and recovery plans.
Support patient safety and hospital quality improvement efforts.
Manage a 7:1 patient ratio while prioritizing tasks effectively.
Qualifications
Current RN license in Florida or Compact state.
At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/Diploma required; BSN preferred).
BLS certification; NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days; ACLS within 6 months.
