Job Description
Responsibilities, Skills & Hands-On Experience
Accounts Payable:
Enter invoices daily.
Match invoices with approved Purchase Orders and Packing Lists, if applicable.Obtain proper approvals.
Code vendor invoices or credit memos accurately and in proper period in accounting system.
Create vendor records and maintain W-9 and W8-BEN information.
Reconcile vendor account statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors as they arise.
Scan and attach invoices/receipts.
Assist with 1099 preparation.
Employee Reimbursement:
Check and verify the report according to the company policies.
Match the receipts.
CA Sales/Use Tax:
Ensure CA Sales/Use Tax are accrued properly.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Basic bookkeeping and data entry skills preferred.
- Ideal candidate pursuing Bachelor s Degree in Accounting.
- 0-1 years of AP and some GL work experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online a plus.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.
- This position is required to be in the office.
