We are actively looking to appoint a Branch/Yard Assistant to join the team in our Longtown branch. If you are a hardworking, flexible individual who can work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!

Your job

This role involves:

• Providing customers with product and service information
• Pick customer orders accurately
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
• Process orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
• Serve customers on the trade counter when required
• Customer interaction

Job Requirements:

Required:

• Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
• Literacy & Numeracy
• A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
• An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
• Forklift truck licence

Desirable:

• Warehouse experience
• A good knowledge of computers
