What You’ll Do

✅ Manage bi-weekly multi-state payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursements. (California payroll experience is a big plus.)
✅ Administer incentive and bonus programs and recommend program enhancements.
✅ Prepare and present compensation reports to senior leadership.
✅ Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure proper tax withholding, reporting, and month-end close activities.
✅ Maintain payroll data integrity and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
✅ Support payroll audits, regulatory reporting, and annual audit activities.
✅ Continuously assess and improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency and minimize manual tasks.
✅ Partner cross-functionally on special payroll or HR-related projects as needed.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
✔️ 5+ years of experience in payroll and compensation
✔️ Strong working knowledge of payroll compliance and compensation best practices
✔️ Experience with UKG, SAP, Matrix, Payfactors, and other HRIS/payroll systems is preferred
✔️ Excellent Excel skills and keen attention to detail
✔️ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate sensitive issues with professionalism
✔️ Full-cycle payroll for multiple states (California payroll is a big plus)
