We are actively looking to appoint a Branch Manager to join our team at our Isle of Wight branch. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment where you can really make a difference whilst supplying our customers with the highest standard of service and information, then we may have the perfect opportunity for you!

Your job

In this role, the Branch Manager will often be the first point of contact for the customer.

Duties involve:

• Delivering excellent customer service, both face to face and by telephone
• Oversee the day to day running of the branch, working with colleagues locally, regionally and centrally to maximise profitability
• Managing and motivating a team
• You will be responsible for effective operations and efficient administration
• Providing customers with product and service information
• Processing enquiries and orders accurately and within dedicated time frames

Job Requirements

Required:

·        Experience of managing and motivating a team

·        An outgoing personality as well as possessing strong people management skills

·        Excellent communication skills and organisational skills.

·        Enthusiastic and professional telephone manner

·        Able to work using your own initiative within a demanding target driven environment.

There is certainly plenty to do in a typical days work. Let’s start right at the beginning... opening up the branch first thing in the morning, ready for the early bird customers to come flooding in through the gates, then there is calculating the sales and takings from the previous days sales, making sure deliveries are loaded and tickets despatched for the drivers before the trucks hit the road for another busy day. As the day goes on there will be deliveries of goods coming into the branch, all of which need checked and booked into stock, oh and then there are customers to help, serve or load all day long! Never a dull moment!”
