We are looking for a stock controller to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave.

To be successful in this role you should have a strong eye for detail, possess strong organisational skills, be able to work on your own initiative and build effective relationships easily, often within a demanding and target driven environment.

The stock control team are focused on ensuring that branches have the necessary stock available to service our customers. This means working efficiently and effectively to ensure stock levels are accurate and in the optimum place but within the purchasing policy set and also to manage and control slow moving stock

The stock control team work as an internal supplier to branches and a customer to suppliers.

What you'll do:

Management of slim4 – execute stock replenishments,

Action internal stock transfers

Processing of branch/ supplier orders

Stock replenishment administration

Maintenance of stock records

Report stock checks – oversee/analyse/prepare results

Manage and control slow moving stock

Respond to Branch and Supplier queries

Work together with Supply Chain, sharing information, product and supplier awareness

Support 26 branches throughout the UK
