Within the Procurement department of Tessenderlo Group we are currently looking for a PROCUREMENT DATA and PROCESS ANALYST.
This function is based in our headquarters in Brussels and reports to the Group Procurement Lead.

Job Description

·         As Data Analyst you ;

o   use creativity and technical skills to locate & collect procurement related data sources (internal and external)

o   review, validate, protect and store data

o   identify trends, patterns, and anomalies

o   introduce data management, analytics, AI techniques to support the business with more detailed & accurate analysis

o   use findings to develop procurement sourcing and –strategies, to reduce costs, to improve/optimize processes and practices, to increase efficiency, quality and consistency

o   create reports and presentations and summarize information

As process analyst you:

o   Govern the overall procurement process model

o   Participate in projects (business & IT) that might impact the process model

o   Assess improvement opportunities (both efficiency & effectiveness) to drive more business results from enhanced & improved processes

o   Work closely with IT to assess how new technologies can help to further streamline, automate, … specific processes or process steps

·         You will be reporting to the Group Procurement Lead and will be supporting the Group, Business Unit and Site procurement teams
 

·         To be a successful Data & Process Analyst, you are focused on translating data & process analysis/analytics into actions. You should be analytical, collaborative, communicative, and detail-oriented. Strong planning and project management skills are key to successfully deliver the required results on time and in budget

Data and Process Analyst Responsibilities:
 

·         Manage the Procurement Data and Process Model

·         Be linking pin between business, procurement and IT in projects impacting data & process model components

·         Collect, analyze & present data supporting category managers and operational procurement leads

·         Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, …

·         Assess procurement process efficiency and effectiveness and propose enhancements & improvements (redefine, redesign, automate, ...)

·         Leverage technology & digital opportunities to improve overall procurement function efficiency and effectiveness through new data analytics or process digitization/automation

·         Create reports and presentations to summarize findings and influence decisions.

Qualifications

Analyst Requirements:

 ·         Bachelor’s degree in procurement/supply chain, finance or related field.

·         Strong technology skills (SAP, BI, Analytics, AI) are key

·         Project planning & management skills

·         Experience in an Industrial environment is valuable.

·         Strong analytical, result oriented, problem solving and “can do” mindset

·         Hands-on, self starting attitude

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Active knowledge of Dutch, French and English
