Job Description
As part of the ICT team of Tessenderlo Group, the Security Architect & Projects Manager will contribute to and undertake all required efforts and initiatives to secure and protect Tessenderlo Group’s information and technology.
- You have a global role as the Security architect and Projects Manager for Tessenderlo Group. You report to the Network & Security Team Lead/Lead Architect.
- You provide technical security support and expertise to IT and Business Units regarding IT risk management, application and infrastructure security.
- You develop security policy standards, procedures, guidelines and references both written and in code.
- You assess risks related to IT operations and advise on appropriate risk management.
- Your provide technical and operational assessment of security products based on enterprise risk in the areas of mobile, physical, endpoint network and application development.
- You provide security portfolio technical support for strategies and roadmap:
- Identity and Access Management
- Data Privacy and Protection
- Application and Infrastructure Security
- You provide clear written and verbal advice and support to projects about security architecture and risk management in a security domain.
- You develop strategy and roadmaps of enterprise security portfolio.
- You partner with Enterprise Security Governance to drive risk management practices and assessments.
- You stay current on industry development and infrastructure trends by development of template code and design patterns.
- You support the alignment of enterprise security objectives and initiatives across all BU’s in close cooperation with the ICT BP.
- You give support and give advice related to security incident management.
- You work with application teams to identify functional requirements that drive security technology.
- You develop and organize security training courses and security awareness programs together with IT and HR stakeholders.
Qualifications
- You have at least 5 – 8 years of relevant experience regarding IT architecture and/or security.
- You have a comprehensive understanding of information security in general.
- You are experienced in practices and methods of IT strategy, enterprise architecture and security architecture.
- You are familiar with Risk assessment procedures, policy formation, role-based authorization methodologies, authentication technologies and security attack pathologies.
- You have a strong awareness of the best and most common security practices in IT projects and the field of application development.
- You have a strong comprehension of IT security technology and process.
- You have an excellent conceptual knowledge of Information Security Standards and Frameworks (ISO 17799, ISO 2700x).
- You have Experience in GDPR Privacy Law.
- You are an expert in Data Centric Security models, Big Data Security.
- You have broad experience in web infrastructure security projects.
- You have affinity with SAP & Microsoft Solutions.
- You are familiar with Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems.
- You are experienced in Network security architecture development and definition.
- You have Knowledge of third party auditing and cloud risk assessment methodologies.
- You are fluent in English and in Dutch or French with a good working knowledge of the 2nd language.
- You have strong project management skills.
- You have outspoken communication and influencing skills.
- You liaise well with the other team members and departments.
- You work autonomously and you have a self-starter and proactive attitude.
- You have good analytical and synthesis skills; you work accurately and build in control moments.
- You show commitment, perseverance and flexibility.
- You keep fully abreast of trends and changing technologies as they relate to Information Security threats and new technologies.
- You are willing to travel up to 25% of the time, mainly in Europe.
