Tesis USA LLC. is hiring candidates for a Senior Automation engineer position in Houston, TX with the following knowledge and abilities:

• At least 4 to 7 years of experience as Engineer in automation projects, executing commissioning and startup of new automation lines.
• Bachelor Degree as an Electrical Engineer or related in the automation field
• Location: Houston, TX.
• Experience in systems integration, PLC, HMI (Rockwell Automation knowledge is a must), SCADA, Servos, Motors, and VFD, Cabinets and junction boxes build up.
• Safety Devices and PLC from Rockwell
• Analog and digital encoders knowledge.
• Valves and actuators troubleshooting knowledge.
• Must have experience in the commissioning of automation projects.
• Must have the knowledge and the capability in instrumentation, PLC and HMI program development for Rockwell automation solutions.
• Conduct routine tests, evaluate plant machinery and troubleshoot issues.
• Design of automation solutions to troubleshoot production issues
• Advanced knowledge in RsLogix in PLC work cycle programming, creation of advanced HMI screens, knowledge of Rockwell programming libraries.
• Must have Electrical Experience.
• knowledge and capability to read electrical diagrams and schematics in AutoCAD.
• Must be able to use diagnostic tools for the analysis of the solution of automation problems. This is required.
• Sequential PLC programming.
• Configuration of PLC and HMI communication networks: Profinet, Ethernet, ControlNet, Devicenet, Profibus DP, Modbus Plus, etc.
• System diagnostic programming.
• Advanced level knowledge of the use of hardware/software for Scadas
• English communication skills are required (speaking, writing and reading).
• Self-motivation and proactive behavior is required.
