    Job Description

As we continue to enhance our digital capabilities, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager for the retail price & promotion API Team. This team plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration of our pricing and promotional strategies across various platforms and applications to delivery best value to our customer.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Product Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to define a clear product strategy for the Retail Price & Promotion API domain.
    • Roadmap Planning: Create and prioritize a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with business goals and maximizes the value of the API offerings to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Outcome Focus: Accountable for identifying the key measures of success (OKRs) and the resulting performance / adoption of our product(s).
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and other cross-functional teams to drive the development and launch of high-quality API products.
    • Customer-Centric Focus: Champion the voice of the customer, conduct user research, and gather feedback to ensure that API solutions meet the needs of our partners and customers.
    • Requirements Definition: Define detailed product requirements, user stories, and use cases that guide the development process and ensure successful outcomes.
    • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of the APIs, and continuously refine and optimize based on data insights.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in the product development process and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.

    Key Experience:

    • Knowledge and experience of product management best practice and methodologies and strong technical experience
    • Technically proficient to influence and understand the solution context and approach (legacy, tactical, strategic) and aid engineering in estimating the complexity of work being requested
    • The ability to build strong working relationships with peers, stakeholders, and teams across the business. Able to demonstrate these relationships to build consensus, motivate change, and deliver value
    • Experience of working in a complex change environment which encompasses multiple product and engineering teams, both local and remote, to deliver enterprise-wide applications and features.
    • Preferred: Experience working on retail pricing and promotion services

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
    • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record of successfully launching and managing APIs or technology products.
    • Proven experience in retail, e-commerce, or related industries with a solid understanding of pricing, promotions, and retail operations.
    • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions & leverage insights to drive product strategy.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization. Experience with Agile methodologies, user-centered design.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information and identify opportunities for innovation.
    • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand technical concepts and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
